Job Description

Assistant General Manager - Airport Lounge Hyde Park Hospitality, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations of the premium lounge inside Washington Dulles International Airport. The role requires strong guest service, team leadership, and compliance with TSA and local regulations. Pay and Assumptions Base pay range: $80,000 – $85,000 per year. Actual pay is based on skills and experience. Responsibilities Hands‑on management of daily lounge operations, including guest check‑in, concierge services, and food delivery. Lead a front‑line team of up to 30 staff members and provide coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews. Maintain high standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and TSA compliance. Collaborate with the General Manager on scheduling, payroll, and training. Recruit, hire, and manage HR functions including counseling and terminations. Track maintenance issues, conduct safety audits, and ensure a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with company food and safety programs and all applicable regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience 2–4 years of management experience in fine dining, hotel, or upscale hospitality venue. Bachelor’s degree related to business or hospitality, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership and ability to build a successful team. Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills (MS Office). Financial experience and business acumen. Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and carry moderately heavy items. Current alcohol and food safety certifications, and security background check clearance. Ability to maintain a polished appearance in a best‑in‑class environment.
