Our team has an immediate need for an experienced ETL developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA. Life With Us Project: Our team is looking for an experienced ETL Developer that can help seamlessly integrate datasets into our customers web application. This opportunity will allow you to be an essential part of the programs continued growth and evolution to include maintaining the current ETL system and defining how the next ETL system will work. You will have a unique opportunity to help drive the design and implementation of a new ETL system. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate that has new and exciting ideas on flexible ETL solutions and designs that can help improve the next generation of our ETL. Flexible Time Off Tenure bonus based on using required clearance on-site Day-to-Day with your Colleagues: Monitor and maintain the flow of data into the customer’s PostgreSQL database Develop custom ETL solutions for unique and diverse datasets Ensure seamless data integration with all aspects of the application Communicate with Intelligence Community data providers Work closely with team members to gather data requirements from end users Minimum Requirements: Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Geography etc. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. Minimum 2 years’ professional experience Experience using PostgreSQL for data management Knowledge using APIs to retrieve data from various sources Experience using SQL to query large datasets Experience with programmatic data manipulation Desired Skills: Experience using AWS cloud services to efficiently gather and service data Knowledge of ETL concepts and best practices Experience using Apache NiFi Familiarity with python data manipulation Familiarity with Intelligence Community data Familiarity with geospatial tools and applications Experience supporting enterprise applications data holdings In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range. The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is: $140,000.00 - $185,000.00 We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
