Job Description
We are currently hiring for Industrial Painters in Richmond, VA. The ideal Industrial Painter candidate has at least 2 years experience painting in an industrial and/or commercial setting and is comfortable with local travel . There is a per diem for local travel to be discussed. Pay is $25 - $30 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Industrial Painter Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and blasting.
Remove contaminants and mask areas not requiring treatment.
Operate sandblasting equipment and select appropriate media.
Monitor equipment for effective performance.
Apply coatings using various methods (spray, brush, roller).
Ensure consistent finish and thickness.
Inspect work for quality compliance and perform touch-ups as necessary.
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report hazards to management.
Maintain equipment and working area; manage supply inventory.
