Responsibilities Responsible for programming, operation and maintenance of irrigation system for golf course Operates programs to water in pesticide applications Operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water Troubleshooting and Repairs of the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed Maintains a working inventory, including ordering necessary supplies Monitors water levels and testing Coordinates pump servicing Ability to work a weekend day if necessary, some holidays, and in a variety of weather conditions will be essential to the job responsibilities Other duties as assigned by the Management Staff Qualifications An understanding of agronomics related to plant health, soil management and pesticide applications An understanding and commitment to water and environmental management Computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be in good physical condition and able to lift at least 50 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr TurfNet
