Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will primarily manage and coordinate maintenance activities, dedicating 75% of your time to desk duties such as scheduling repairs, ordering parts, managing inventory, and overseeing technician schedules. The remaining 25% of your time will be spent on the floor, ensuring the completion of repairs and the continuous operation of production equipment such as cutters, grinders, augers, mills, motors, conveyors, and VFDs. You will lead a maintenance team of 12 and manage the maintenance budget effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule repairs and manage inventory.
• Order parts and sign off on orders.
• Schedule and approve time off for technicians.
• Ensure repairs are completed and production equipment stays operational.
• Oversee and step in to assist with repairs as needed.
• Lead a team of 12 maintenance technicians.
• Manage and oversee the maintenance budget.

• 5+ years as a multi-craft maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing and managing a team.
• 5+ years in a maintenance role requiring mechanical and electrical troubleshooting up to 480v.
• 5+ years utilizing Computer Maintenance Management Systems for planning and scheduling.
• Experience with PLC programming.

• Formal training or education in a related field is a plus.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming is a plus.

Work Environment

You will oversee a team of 12 maintenance technicians in a non-climate-controlled environment. The facility involves food-grade powder, necessitating the use of PPE, including hair and beard nets. While mills provide warmth in the winter, they contribute to a hot environment in the summer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
