Panel Insulator - 2nd Shift
Location: York, PA
Shift: 2nd Shift | Full-Time
Pay: $22.96 - $26.44 +($1.50 Shift Premium)

Panel Assembly Technician , where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help shape high-quality commercial air handling units. This hands-on role involves assembling and insulating panels, doors, walls, and drain pans with precision. What You'll Do \n - Read and interpret specification sheets to identify correct parts.
\n - Assemble panels and components according to detailed instructions.
\n - Install windows, hardware, and purchased parts into assemblies.
\n - Apply insulation to panels as specified.
\n - Label panels for tracking and organize them for delivery.
\n - Operate forklifts and other tools to move materials and complete tasks.
\n - Complete production logs and deviation reports.
\n - Disassemble and correct improperly assembled or damaged panels.
\n - Use rivet guns, air guns, knives, and handheld spot welders.
\n - Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow.
\n - Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.

What We're Looking For Qualifications: \n - Requires a high school diploma/GED and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
\n - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
\n - Demonstrates an attention to detail.
\n - Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively.
\n - Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
\n - Capable of following instructions and solving routine problems.
\n - Forklift license required (can be obtained within 3 months of hire).
\n

Work Environment: \n - Exposure to moderate noise and airborne particles.
\n - Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms.
\n - Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
\n - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
\n

HIRING HOURLY RANGE : $22.96 - $26.44 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
