Job Summary As the ultimate leader of the store, the Store Manager is accountable for all aspects of retail store performance. The role ensures that each area of the store aligns with key results, delivers world‑class guest experiences, and upholds company values and directives in people experience, store operations, product, and community relationships. Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment that celebrates differences. Establish and communicate a clear vision for the store based on key metrics. Drive hiring strategy to build a strong, diverse team across all skillsets. Address employee concerns and partner with internal support when needed. Guest Experience and Community Lead exceptional customer experience on the floor, assess guest connection, and coach teams to close gaps. Direct in‑store team members to prioritize guest experience while supporting operations. Handle emergent issues, guest escalations, and urgent requests. Build brand awareness by cultivating relationships with local ambassadors, community influencers, and partners. Plan and execute community projects such as local run clubs and event initiatives. Operations, Product, and Strategy Drive visual merchandising and product strategy, including product escalations and company initiatives. Manage sell‑through, inventory accuracy, and product deliveries in alignment with merchandising strategy. Develop high‑level quarterly and seasonal plans for store strategy, budget, and labor. Own the store’s profit and loss in accordance with sales and budget goals. Lead from the floor, coaching and developing team members to meet business needs. Adhere to people safety policies and maintain a safe work environment. Budget Responsibility Control budget items, labor hours, and annual sales plan targets. Schedule/Availability Variable schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. Experience 1 year in people management, including recruiting, hiring, and performance accountability. 1 year managing business operations, retail scheduling, labor hours, and project management. Job Assets (Nice to Have) High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 2+ years in retail or sales management. Work Context High‑energy environment with bright lights and loud music. Team‑based and independent work. Potential conflict management and guest issue deescalation. Engage with new people and strengthen community partnerships. Use of computer or virtual communication tools. Movement throughout the store, occasional standing, and lifting boxes up to 30 lbs. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay Range : $92,910 – $125,702 annually (subject to local minimum wage) Target Bonus : 30% of base Total Target Base Pay Range : $120,783 – $163,413 annually Employees may be eligible for competitive bonus and equity programs based on performance and eligibility criteria.
