Job Description
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a respected healthcare facility in Burlington, VT.
Details:
40 hours per week
26-week contract
4x10hour rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care as a circulating or scrub nurse in the operating room.
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs for instruments, sutures, and supplies.
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately document all patient care and procedural details in the electronic medical record system.
Requirements:
Active RN license Required
BLS certification (AHA) Required
Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience Required
