ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

\nRN - PICU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work rotating shifts (3x12s or 4x12s) with ability to work both day and night shifts during contract
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week with facility allowed to call off 3 times throughout 13-week assignment
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2 for all shifts
\n• Must work 4 weekend shifts per schedule for day shift and 4-5 for night shift
\n• 1.5 years of PICU experience required (recent within last 2 years)
\n• Level I trauma facility experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, New Mexico nursing license
\n• Must float to NICU and may assist in Pediatric ED as resource (no primary patient assignments)
\n• Special procedures experience required: CRRT, ECMO, ventilators, inotropic drips
\n• Care for patients with respiratory distress/failure, renal failure, trauma, ECMO, heme/onc, multi-system organ failure
\n• 36-hour orientation provided
\n• Black scrubs required (not provided by facility)
\n• Cerner charting system
\n• No locals within 75-mile radius accepted
\n• Overtime must be pre-approved and is rarely granted
\n• RTO restrictions apply - greater than 7 days needs approval

\nThis Level I trauma children's hospital is a 554-bed teaching facility specializing in acute care and short-term treatment. The facility serves as a comprehensive stroke center with advanced pediatric services including PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency departments. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams, providing comprehensive care for critically ill children and complex medical cases.
