Job Summary The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience role is an essential part of the store leadership team, ensuring our team members and guests receive a quality experience in our stores every day. Assistant Managers, Guest Experience lead from the floor to build, manage, and develop team members and create an environment and team culture where people feel a deep sense of belonging and have the opportunity to grow. Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences. Engage team members by helping them understand how their work supports the success of the store and lululemon. Implement the Store Manager’s People vision for the store and cascade to team members. Support Store Manager in hiring and building a strong and diverse team. Support ongoing learning and development of team members consistently and equitably by providing direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and continuous development check‑ins. Lead performance management activities, including direct feedback and continuous check‑ins, facilitating team acknowledgement and rewards, managing performance documentation, and addressing concerns. Address employee concerns or issues, partnering with internal support when appropriate. Guest Experience And Community Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor, assessing the level of guest connection and product education, and coaching team members to address gaps. Provide retail floor leadership to team members, making in‑the‑moment decisions to maintain efficiency of coverage and operations. Resolve guest feedback and address emergent issues, including escalations, helping to “make it right” for guests. Operations, Product, and Strategy Partner with other managers to review business data and metrics to inform planning processes. Maintain strategic product presentation/visual merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, or minor changes are accomplished. Open and close the store in accordance with procedures. Understand and adhere to people safety policies to maintain a safe work environment. Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws. Job Requirements Eligibility Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located. Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation. Schedule/Availability Variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights or overnights, weekends and holidays. Experience 1 year people management experience. 1 year leadership experience, including managing business operations, administration, projects or processes. Job Assets (Nice to Have) High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 1 year retail or sales specific management experience. 1 year recruiting, hiring, or training employees. Work Context Bright lights and loud music environment. Teamwork and independent work. Managing conflict or mediating problems between others or deescalating guest issues. Building relationships with strangers/new people and strengthening community partnerships. Using computers or other technical devices, including virtual meetings. Moving through a store most of the shift; may sit for extended periods. Occasional moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg). Compensation & Benefits Package Base Pay Range: $27.21 - $36.81/hour (subject to minimum wage in the location) Target Bonus: 25% Total Target Base Pay Range: $34.01 - $46.01/hour Lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.
