Position Summary

Join our team and help customers gear up for their fitness and sporting goals! As a Sales Associate, you'll promote all aspects of the business—from selling and pricing to merchandising and customer service. You'll also take on keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store.

Key Responsibilities

• ️ Greet customers promptly, assess their needs, and assist with purchases in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

• Perform opening and closing duties, including handling keys, balancing tills, and managing deposits.

• ️ Learn product features, brands, and pricing to make informed recommendations and upsell effectively.

• Buy used gear and encourage customers to return with items for trade or resale.

• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards; restock and ticket items per guidelines.

• Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently for all transactions.

• Meet personal and store sales goals through excellent customer service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Team-oriented with the ability to follow direction.

• Sales-driven and goal-focused.

• Reliable, organized, and able to manage responsibilities independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift.

• Lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

• Perform bending, reaching, and rotating tasks typical of a retail environment.

• Operate a computerized sales terminal.
